LVQ神经网络的预测——人脸朝向识别
人脸识别作为一个复杂的模式识别问题，近年来得到了广泛的关注，识别领域的各种方法在这里各显所长，而且发展出了许多新方法，大大丰富和拓宽了模式识别的方向。现有一个描述人脸不同角度的图像库，包含了10个人，每人5幅图像，分别描述人脸的朝向：左方、左前方、前方、右前方和右方。创建LVQ神经网络，对任意给出的人脸图像进行朝向预测和识别。 相比与BP神经网络，LVQ神经网络无需对数据进行预处理，只需要直接计算输入向量与竞争曾之间的距离，从而进行模式识别。近年来，对LVQ神经网络的研究也愈来愈深入，应用也越来越广泛，如故障诊断、性能评价、风险预测等。
