    in this work we have tried to control a tanker ship using fuzzy logic and fuzzy controllers. it s well known that we can use fuzzy logic for control purposes in two ways,first we can use fuzzy logic to make a model of the plant and use conventional controllers to control the whole system controllers like PID,or nonlinear methods like Sliding mode control or ... on the other hand we can use fuzzy logic algorithms and methods for direct control of the plants. in this work we have used the second one and have propsed a fuzzy algorithm to control the tanker vehicle directly.
