    该算法为距离-多普勒成像算法,针对场景的多散射点目标录取回波数据,采用匹配滤波的方法实现距离向与方位向的压缩,识别出目标并得到其位置信息。(The algorithm is range Doppler imaging algorithm, aiming at the multi scattering scene target extracting echo data, matched filtering method was used to realize the distance and azimuth compression, identify the target and its location information.)

Important concepts of SAR such as resolution, pulse compression and image formation are given together with associated MATLAB codes. After providing the fundamentals for ISAR imaging, the book gives the detailed imaging procedures for ISAR imaging with associated MATLAB functions and codes. To enhance the image quality in ISAR imaging, several imaging tricks and fine-tuning procedures such as zero-padding and windowing are also presented.
