A discrete model of the IEC 61000-4-15 flickermeter is developed for use with the Matlab–Simulink simulation software package. The discrete model is a faithful reproduction of a flickermeter defined by the IEC Standard it duplicates the functional blocks described by the standard and operates in the same way as the standardized instrument to assure complete fidelity of results.
