We present the systematic formulation of Gaussian filters and develop efficient and accurate numerical integration of the proposed filter. We also discuss the mixed Gaussian filters in which the conditional probability density is approximated by the sum of Gaussian distributions. Our numerical testings demonstrate that new filters significantly improve the extended Kalman filter with no additional cost and the new Gaussian sum filter .has a nearly optimal perfor- mance.)

When calculating, the lowest bit of multiplier register is used to control whether or not the partial product is added to the multiplier, and then the partial product and multiplier are moved right. At the same time, the multiplier register receives the right-shifted bit of the partial product. After completing the operation, the partial product register saves the product. The higher part, the lower part of the product is saved in the multiplier register.)
