脉冲压缩雷达发射宽脉冲信号，接收和处理回波后输出窄脉冲的雷达。为获得脉冲压缩的效果，发射的宽脉冲采取编码形式，并在接收机中经过匹配滤波器的处理。脉冲压缩雷达的优点是能获得大的作用距离和具有很高的距离分辨力。(pulse compression&phased array)
