这个算法是基于二值图像的，所使用的软件是matlab。本算法对二值图像的轮廓进行提取，包括四邻域的轮廓提取与八邻域的轮廓提取。并给出了matlab处理时像素的链码表示法，也有称之为Freeman链码。本算法所有的轮廓都是用链码表示的，也可以用链码表示像素画图。
