使用WinPcap的函数pcap_finidalldevs()获主机的网络设备名，选择一个有线网卡，用函数pcap_open_live()打开该设备，通过把网卡设置为混杂模式，接收一切数据包，可以定义一些过滤规则来捕获特定的数据包。再对接收到的以太网数据包进行分析，先找出IP数据包，再找出UDP数据包，最后分别显示出该类数据包的协议类型及相关字段。
