在我们的社会中达到了前所未有的程度，并与越来越重视新兴的自动识别个人身份申请欺诈，生物识别技术为基础的验证，尤其是指纹识别的基础，接收了大量的关注。有传统的方法指纹代表性的两大缺点。在相当一部分人群的基础上，明确检测完整的山脊结构指纹的表示是很难自动提取。广泛使用的细节系表示不利用在指纹可用富歧视性信息的显著组件。本地脊结构不能完全特征细节。此外，细节为基础的匹配有困难的快速匹配包含不同数量的未注册的细节点两个指纹图像。所提出的基于过滤器的算法使用的Gabor滤波器在指纹作为紧凑型固定长度FingerCode捕捉局部和全局的细节。指纹匹配是基于两个相应FingerCodes并因此之间的欧几里得距离是非常快的。我们能够实现验证的精度这是只有轻微次于出版在公开文献中细节的算法的最佳效果。我们的系统性能比国家的最先进的细枝末节为基础的系统时，应用系统的性能要求并不需要非常低的错误接受率更好。最后，我们表明，匹配性能可通过组合匹配器的决定来改善
