   小波分析是在傅里叶基础上发展起来的一个有效的调和分析工具,在信号频谱分析中有着非常重要的作用. 由于传统的傅里叶分析只能较好的刻画信号的频率特征,而几乎不提供信号的任何时域信息,而小波分析却能把时域信息和频域信息两者结合起来,广泛应用于突变点检测等应用中。
