1.CHEMCAD软件概述：
CHEMCAD系列软件是美国Chemstations公司开发的化工流程模拟软件。使用它，可以在计算机上建立与现场装置吻合的数据模型，并通过运算模拟装置的稳态或动态运行，为工艺开发、工程设计、优化操作和技术改造提供理论指导。
1.1使用CHEMCAD可以做的工作主要有以下几项：
A.设计更有效的新工艺和设备使效益最大化
B.通过优化脱瓶颈改造减少费用和资金消耗
C.评估新建旧装置对环境的影响
D.通过维护物性和实验室数据的中心数据库支持公司信息系统
1.2CHEMCAD中的单元操作：
CHEMCAD提供了大量的操作单元供用户选择，使用这些操作单元，基本能够满足一般化工厂的需要。 对反应器和分离塔，提供了多种计算方法。ChemCAD可以模拟以下单元操作：
蒸馏、汽提、吸收、萃取、共沸、三相共沸、共沸蒸馏、三相蒸馏、电解质蒸馏、反应蒸馏、反应器、热交换器、压缩机、泵、加热炉、控制器、透平、膨胀机等50多个单元操作。
