直流输电比起交流输电更适合进行远距离高压输电，基于PSCAD电磁暂态仿真软件构建了交流系统、换流变圧器、换流器、交-直流滤波器、平波电抗器及直流输电线路等的仿真模型，并以此搭建了500kV高压直流输电系统仿真模型，验证了该模型的准确性。(DC transmission is more suitable for long-distance transmission than AC transmission, the electromagnetic transient simulation software PSCAD is built based on the simulation model of AC system, converter transformer, voltage converter, AC / DC filter, smoothing reactor and DC transmission lines, and to build a 500kV HVDC system simulation model validation the accuracy of the model.)
