扩频通信.第一本有关扩频系统的专著是R.C.Dixon于1976年出版，是一本IEEE专利，1977年出版。1978年在日本京都召开国际无线通信咨询委员会公布研究成果。1982年在美国召开第一次军事通信会议，两次报告在军事中的应用。1985年美国提出CDMA(码分多址)的概念同年美国联邦通信委员会(FCC)制定扩频通信的标准和规范，逐步转入民用的商业化研究-Spread Spectrum Communication.
