As the motion estimation is usually larger amount of computation, so the compression performance has a significant influence. Based on the analysis of the video sequence and the characteristics of the existing Quick Search Algorithm in-depth understanding on the basis of a modified Quick search motion estimation algorithm, experiments show that the algorithm has better compression performance improvements.
