单片机有着体积小、功耗低、功能强、性能价格比高、易于推广应用等显著优点，在自动化装置、智能仪器仪表、过程控制、通信、家用电器等许多领域得到日益广泛的应用。在许多基于单片机的应用系统中，系统需要实现遥控功能，而红外遥控则是被采用较多的一种方法。红外遥控是通过红外管发送红外遥控编码对其设备进行控制的,不同设备的遥控发送的红外遥控编码都是不同的。由于红外无线解决了有线连接的许多不便，因而受到了家电设备厂商、电脑外围设备商、以及通信设备厂商的高度重视。
如果将遥控技术、单片机与D类音频功率放大器结合起来，那么得到的产品将是非常前沿的。本次设计就是全遥控数字音量控制的D 类功率放大器。
