无线网络的通信模型建立使用 TCL 脚本。Tcl 脚本的执行与记录在它的所有模拟事件生成的跟踪文件。吞吐量的计算使用 awk 脚本进程跟踪文件并生成带有.xg 扩展名的文件中的结果。Xgraph 为吞吐量是使用所得的 awk 脚本执行的结果 （.xg 文件） 绘制的。
