    资源描述This application note shows how to control a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with the sensorless field-oriented control (FOC) algorithm, using an ARM® Cortex®-M0-based PSoC 4 device. The FOC algorithm is frequently used in motor control applications because it allows motors to operate with less noise and more stable torque output than other algorithms. Sensorless FOC adds the advantage of reducing the cost due to the absence of rotor position sensors. Sensorless FOC is used in many applications including consumer (air conditioner, refrigerator), industrial (blower, pump), and commercial (elevator, escalator) products.
