Net-Sky ChatServer不同于其他的用PHP，ASP，PERL等脚本语言编写的或其他任何CGI模式的聊天程式，本聊天室程序使用标准C语言开发，独立于任何第三方WEBSERVER而运行，快速，高效，稳定，大容量。程序的设计目标是能在一台普通的PC上同时容纳上万人聊天。经初步测试，完全达标：每个聊天室一道进程，占内存约700K，80人在线时占CPU约0.03% (Pll450)。程序启动即将所有模版一次性载入内存，最大限度减少硬盘的I/O操作（聊天过程没有任何硬盘I/O），最大限度提高性能。这不不并不意味着每次修改配置后要重新启动聊程式，系统提供专门的管理员命令来重载或修改配置，而不须停止或间断服务。(Only For Linux)-Net-Sky ChatServer different from the other with PHP, ASP, PERL scripting languages such as prepared by the CGI or any other mode of chat programs, the chat room using the standard C language development, independent of any third-party WEBSERVER and running fast, efficient, stable, large capacity.
