Ethernet为我们广泛使用，Ethernet设备是以48位MAC地址传输数据帧的，因此，必须有一种协议维护IP地址和物理地址之间的对应关系。一般主机都在系统中维护一张表，用来储存着两种地址之间的动态或静态映射，而ARP（Address Resolution Protocol）协议就是用来确定上述映射关系的协议。
