Mocko is a tool to mock C++ objects methods and C-like (global) functions dynamically, without needing to alter the source code to make it mockeable. Mocko can also mock system library functions such as malloc(). Additionally, Mocko doesn"t need polymorphism (as gmock does), so as part of the principle of not altering the source code to make it mockeable, it doesn"t need to add virtual tables to classes. Currently, Mocko uses gmock as the mock backend and gdb as the dynamic instrumentation tool. PROTOTYPE AND PROOF-OF-CONCEPT STAGE. Current version is tested for global functions only.
