Firewall Log Daemon是一个用C编写的程序，它实时监视IP链或IP表日志警告。程序将启动一个小型后台监控进程，通过读取由系统日志写的FIFO来分析和解决防火墙日志。它可以查询一批警告，并将它们用邮件发送给你，或是由一个脚本用来处理现存的日志文件或数据流。它的功能有主机名，端口，协议，和ICMP类型/代码检查，可以由用户定义模板来格式化输出-Firewall Log daemon is a C preparation procedures, which real-time monitoring of IP or IP chain warned log table. 这实际上己经是IISLogView的第三个版本了，最初写它的原因是实在无法忍受用记事本去查IIS的日志文件，所以就用BCB写了个小程序，当时的功能也十分简单，就是把IIS的日志文件塞到一个表格控件里面去，让它看起来舒服些。后来又添加了简单的筛选过滤功能，只是使用基本的字符串比较加上一些逻辑组合。因为是为读取IIS日志而设计的所以便命名为IISLogView了，不过实际上它已经可以支持所有的W3C格式的日志文件了，包含WINDOWS防火墙的日志文件。
